In April 2025, comprehensive field surveys were conducted across two regions in Morocco Kenitra and Khemisset as part of our ongoing research project SUPREM MILK. The objective was to gather in-depth data from livestock farmers to better understand agricultural practices and decision-making processes. The surveys covered a broad range of topics including animal health, breeding, selection and culling rates, production levels, investments in infrastructure and equipment, herd structure, pasture and feeding strategies, and overall farmer profiles. This rich dataset will form the foundation for characterizing livestock systems and informing evidence-based policy and development strategies.
