In Turkey, buffalo farmers whose farms were selected for the SUPREM-MILK project were interviewed to collect structural, technical, economic, and management data on their farms. This information, together with that collected from interviews with farmers on selected farms in Egypt and Morocco, will form a database to support the achievement of the project’s objectives. These objectives include the creation of a benchmark for cross-country comparison, the monitoring of on-farm interventions, and the evaluation of the dissemination of innovations.
